A worker with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) under Zoomlion Ghana Limited (ZL), Salifu Ibrahim, has been widely praised for returning GH¢20,000 to its rightful owner in Tamale, Northern Region.
The Good Samaritan found the substantial sum but chose to return it instead of keeping it for himself.
Explaining his decision, he stated that his faith does not permit him to take what does not belong to him.
The owner of the money, who prefers to remain anonymous, expressed profound gratitude to Mr Ibrahim for his remarkable integrity.
“I am overwhelmed with joy and appreciation for this selfless act,” the owner said.
Mr Ibrahim’s honesty has received widespread commendation, with many urging that he be rewarded for his exemplary conduct.
His actions serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of integrity and honesty in society.
