The Democratic Republic of Congo President has invited CEO of Engineers & Planners to start commercial mining of bauxite in his country.
President Felix Tshisekedi also wants Ibrahim Mahama to help build the capacity of the power sector in DR Congo.
He disclosed this to Mr Mahama during a breakfast meeting with on Saturday in Abuja.
President Tshisekedi commended the CEO of Engineers & Planners for his great efforts in the mining sector in the continent.
Mr Mahama accepted the invitation and promised to give off his the best as he’s currently doing in Ghana and other African countries.
The CEO of Engineers & Planners also had meetings with other African business magnates including Sani Dangote.
Mr Mahama is in Abuja as a special guest to the 2019 Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Forum on the invitation of the founder of United Bank of Africa (UBA), Tony Elumelu.
The two-day Forum which started on Friday ended on Saturday.
