Municipal director of education for West Gonja municipal assembly has condemned the conduct of students of Ndewura Japka Senior High School.
“Your actions will affect you your entire life,” He warned the students.
He was speaking based on reports of students vandalizing the school’s properties following their disagreement with school authorities over social distancing in their examination halls on Monday, August 3, 2020.
“You are in the news all over the country and it’s rather unfortunate, and the whole directorate is not happy with what has happened and I will not mince words I am really disappointed.
I don’t even understand why you should complain about your spacing here because we were here on Monday and we realized compared to other schools we went to, yours was closer,” he told the students.
Upset with the conduct of the students, he added, “The regional director will be here, we will be looking at the issues and any decisions will be communicated to you,
Anything you do today will affect you for life and because of what you have done attention will be on you concerning the exams.”
This comes after students of the Ndewura Jakpa Senior High School vandalized the school’s properties as a result of their disapproval of the widely spaced seating in their examination halls.
