Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has admitted the difficult challenge of his side's game against Mali in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana will face Mali on the road on June 6 in the first of two games in the upcoming international window. He named his squad for the two games on Wednesday, May 29.
The game against the Eagles will be the Black Stars' third of the qualifying series having already played two games with one win and one defeat.
The race to finish top of Group I is taking an interesting twist with Comoros currently the only team to have picked up all six points available.
Speaking of his target, Addo said: "The aim is to qualify. It will be difficult, especially in the away game with Mali. They have a very good squad."
"What I want to assess is the way we play. We will have good and bad times. We show that when we played against Nigeria and in the World Cup we played good football.
"At the end, it is a result sport. I will be judged by the results."
Ghana will face Mali on June 6 before facing the Central African Republic on June 10.
The team will begin camping for the two games on Thursday, May 30, and will be training at the University of Ghana Stadium.
