Wolves chase Jordan Ayew

Wolverhampton Wanderers are eyeing Olympique Marseille Ghana starlet Jordan Ayew. The Mirror says Wolves boss Mick McCarthy wants to negotiate a loan deal for the 19 year-old next season. McCarthy wants to take a closer, extended look at Ayew before committing to a major transfer fee. Jordan, the third son of Ghana legend and European Cup winner Abedi Pele, showed glimpses of his brilliance when he featured for the French giants before the winter break. He made his debut for the senior team on December 16 last year in a league match, scoring the equalizer against Lorient in a 2-1 win. Ayew's three-year contract with Marseille will expire in 2012.
