The Winneba District Police Command in the Central Region has given a three-day ultimatum to institutions, organisations and individuals who have erected signposts that were obstructing vehicular and pedestrian movement to relocate them.
The police in a statement issued at Winneba at the weekend said "signposts belonging to hairdressers, mechanics, tailors and seamstresses, companies, institutions and individuals that obstruct the view of motorists and pedestrians especially school children should be relocated".
The statement signed by the District Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police Jordan Quaye said the directive was part of efforts by the police to help to reduce accidents in Winneba and appealed for the cooperation of the people.
