Management committee member of the Black Stars, Wilfred Osei Palmer believes the Local Black Stars hammering at the hands of Japan was deserved because of the poor preparations by the club.
The team led by Maxwell Konadu conceded all three goals in the opening thirty minutes of the game.
For Palmer, preparations for the game was poor hence the defeat.
“The Japanese have been better prepared than the local Black Stars,” he told Joy Sports.
“Definitely, what you sow is what you get so in terms of training, we can’t compare to the Japanese that’s what gave us this outcome.”
“These players are very good in every right, standard and everything is very high.”
“There is a difference between having requisite players and a team. Building a team is different from having players with individual talent.”
“You need a better approach to preparations than what is happening.”
Palmer further urged management of the team to try put together a team that will compete at any given time.
“I will entreat the local Black Stars management team to put a team together so we always have a standing team.”
“In terms of preparations, I was not expecting a result far from this.”
