Mohammed Kudus has become the latest player to move to West Ham United this summer as part of their businesses for the 2023/24 season.
Kudus sealed €45 million move to East London on Sunday after ending his three-year stay at Ajax following his move from FC Nordsjaelland in 2020.
The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Hammers with an option for a further year.
He also becomes the latest Ghanaian player to move to the Premier League and the third to feature for West Ham United.
The other two to have played for the Hammers are John Paintsil and Andre Ayew.
- Paintsil (2006-2008)
The ex-Black Stars international signed for West Ham after the 2006 World Cup, joining from Hapoel Tel Aviv after a recommendation from Israeli international Yossi Benayoun.
At West Ham, Paintsil was handed the number 14 shirt and pushed for a spot in the team competing with Tyrone Mears and Jonathan Spector. He made only five appearances for West Ham during the 2006/07.
In all, Painstil made 24 appearances for the Hammers before leaving for Fulham in 2008.
- Ayew (2016-2018)
Andre signed a three-year contract with West Ham for a then-club record fee of £20.5 million, with the option of a further two years in August 2016.
On August 15, the Black Stars captain made his debut for the club against Chelsea, lasting 35 minutes before being replaced due to a thigh injury.
He made his first team debut on October 26, 2016, in a 2-1 home win over Chelsea in the EFL Cup.
Ayew scored his first goal for West Ham on December 26, 2016. He scored the opening goal in West Ham's 4-1 win over his former club Swansea City.
Having scored 12 goals in 50 appearances across all competitions, Ayew left West Ham in January 2018 to rejoin Swansea.
