What is the G spot?

The G spot, or Grafenberg spot, was discovered in the 1950s by Ernest Grafenberg, a German-born medical doctor. It is the spongy tissue of the paraurethral gland found on the inside wall of the vagina. For women who have discovered their G spot, however, it is a pleasure zone. Some believe the G spot is a myth because they have never found it, but every woman has one. It's sometimes difficult to pinpoint and not all women respond to its stimulation the same. Who The G spot is a part of every woman's body. The Grafenberg spot is similar in structure and function to the prostate in males. In fact, the prostate is often referred to the male G spot because prostate stimulation brings about intense sexual pleasure. The prostate can only be stimulated through the rectum. What The Grafenberg spot is a paraurethral gland, which is one of several glands found on the vaginal wall or surrounding the urethra opening. These glands function much as the male prostate, producing fluid that can be ejaculated when sexually stimulated. The actual G spot that can be felt, once found, is about the size of a quarter. The G spot is made up of nerve endings and is full of blood vessels that become engorged with blood when aroused, which is why the G spot can produce such intense orgasms. Where The G spot is on the inside wall of the vagina. It is about 2 inches from the vaginal opening. To locate the G spot, insert your index or middle finger into the vagina and when about 2 inches from the opening, bend your finger toward the belly button. The G spot will feel rougher than the surrounding vaginal tissue. How Once the G spot is located, stimulation can begin. To stimulate the G spot, it is important that the woman be sexually aroused. Stimulation in the absence of arousal can be uncomfortable or even painful. Adequate lubrication is also necessary for successful stimulation. To stimulate the G spot, lightly tap the rough area with a constant rhythmic motion. This will induce a G spot orgasm. Myths Because many women do not believe their G spot exists, there are many myths surrounding this often elusive gland, including the notion that finding a woman's G spot is the only way to induce an orgasm. This is not true. Woman can achieve organism through clitoral stimulation, vaginal stimulation and some even through breast stimulation. Another myth is that any woman who cannot achieve orgasm through G spot stimulation has a medical problem. All women respond differently to G spot stimulation. Some find it too uncomfortable to be aroused by it, which is completely normal and acceptable.
