Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, says the Black Stars will approach the friendly game against Switzerland like it is the first game of the 2022 World Cup.
Otto Addo’s men will face the European nation in their final pre-World Cup friendly on Thursday at 10:00 GMT in Abu Dhabi.
The clash will give the technical team the opportunity to put the finishing touches to tactics and who starts the Group H opener against Portugal on November 24.
Ahead of the game, the Ajax midfielder disclosed the intensity would be like what will be seen at the World Cup.
“We just came and preparation has been good. The whole team looks ready and fit, so we'll just go and then give our best and prepare for the World Cup ahead,” Kudus said.
“All these three games are preparation for the [World Cup] games, but tomorrow is another game.
“The past two games are finished and gone, so we just take the game tomorrow as the first game of the World Cup to really create the intensity and the energy and everything together ready for the World Cup.”
The game against Switzerland will come exactly a week before Ghana plays Portugal at the World Cup.
