The Word In Action Church has assured that it will work with local authorities to ensure the necessary measures are taken after its branch under construction collapsed on Tuesday, May 9.
The church says it will also ensure that the necessary support is given to the injured persons.
In a press release, the Church appreciated the support it has received so far.

“We are working closely with local authorities and emergency services to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to address the situation and provide the necessary support to those in need.
“We appreciate the quick response of the emergency responders and the community members who have shown their support in this difficult time.
Seven construction workers have been injured after the three-story auditorium of the Word In Action Church collapsed at Old Bortianor.
This happened in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
The disaster reportedly ensued while the victims were working on an extension project around the facility.
Eyewitnesses say they heard an unusual noise before the building came down, as the workers attempted to escape.
All the victims were taken to the Bortianor Polyclinic for treatment.
One of them has been subsequently transferred to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
