The CAF Confederations Cup has seen the Accra-based club take another good step after beating AS Djoliba 2-1 in Bamako in the first leg of the third round.
But in the domestic top flight, the team lie ninth on the log.
"It is true that we have to do work harder and get a better place on the league table," the defender said of their 18 points garnered in 13 games.
"At the beginning of the season, the team did not gel well because we had some new players coming in and the coach had to turn us into a unit.
"But I am happy now because we all understand the coach and things have improved. There are two matches left in the first round and then, the second round will come in. I am sure that our season will have a good turnaround," he told Citi FM.
The First Capital Plus Premier League returns this weekend with a derby for Hearts as they face rivals Olympics on April 26 and then Ashgold three days later.
