The Christian Council of Ghana has commended the proactive approach of the police service in fostering stronger ties with the public.
This commendation follows a stakeholder meeting held by the Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare, and the Police Management Board at the Pentecost Transit Guest House in Accra on Thursday, October 26.
The meeting is part of the police service's concerted efforts to engage with key stakeholders in their end-of-year security preparations.

During the program, the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, conveyed the council's gratitude to the IGP for taking the initiative to clarify various security matters.
He stated, "We appreciate the education. These are usually paid for, but you've generously shared them with us. We are thankful and you have our full support."

Bishop Gordon Kisseih, the Presiding Bishop of the Life International Church and the First Vice-President of the GPCC, also voiced his appreciation for the police service's leadership and their proactive approach to addressing concerns.

He affirmed, "You're heading in the right direction, and rest assured, you have our complete support."
In response, the IGP reassured the public that the police force is fully prepared to provide an abundance of security measures this Christmas season.
