Ghana's chances of making a fourth successive World Cup now hang in the balance after falling 2-0 in Alexnadria. Joy Sports Kweku Arhin looks at the numbers that decided Ghana's fate.

Avram Grant lost a competitive game for Ghana after 21 months without defeat.  The last time Ghana lost prior to this game was a penalty shootout loss to Ivory Coast in February 2015.

Ghana has now scored only 2 goals in 360 minutes of World Cup Qualifying action. (0 against Comoros, 2 against Comoros, 0 against Uganda, 0 against Egypt).

Ghana are now without a win in their last 5 games but more importantly, the team are without a win in 3 competitive games scoring only 1 goal.

Ghana averaged 58% ball possession at the Borg EL-Arab Stadium, completing 288 out of 348 passes and having an average pass success of 83%.

Thomas Partey was the top passer for Ghana completing 51 passes and having an average pass success of 91%.

The Black Stars had 7 shots against the Pharaohs will only 3 being on target.

Ghana had 2 yellow cards in the game with Mubarak Wakaso and Jordan Ayew booked.
