We thought it would have been one of the greatest Cristiano Ronaldo goals of all time.
Real Madrid supporters no doubt felt it was also a great effort from Cristiano Ronaldo, and had it gone in it would surely have been a goal talked about for many years.
But, in Mexico the effort did not go down well. Famous Mexican commentator Raul Orvañanos described Ronaldo as a “clown” for attempting to score with a Rabona.
Subsequently, this has been picked up in Spain who are wondering why Orvañanos is so angry!
