Wanderlust Ghana, a travel group known for its ambitious road adventures, has announced the suspension of its ongoing 30,000-kilometre journey.
This decision was disclosed in a press statement issued on Thursday, 28th November, outlining the circumstances leading to the abrupt halt.
According to the statement, the suspension followed allegations that two of the vehicles being used for the adventure were stolen from Canada.

The vehicles, a 2016 Lexus RX 350 and a 2018 Toyota Tacoma, were flagged as stolen upon the group’s arrival in Congo, prompting the decision to pause their expedition.
Despite the allegations, Wanderlust Ghana has strongly asserted its innocence, maintaining that the vehicles were lawfully purchased from reputable car dealers.
The group has expressed its willingness to cooperate fully with authorities to resolve the issue and clear its name.

Furthermore, the group has instructed its legal team to pursue action against the car dealers involved in the transactions.
Wanderlust Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to upholding its values of integrity and adventure, expressing hope that the matter would be resolved swiftly to prove their innocence.
