Academy side WAFA produced a spirited second half display to halt Aduana’s 100% record as they drew 1-1 in Sogakope.
The game was a carbon copy of last season as Aduana devised a defensive strategy and executed to perfection.
They took the lead through Sam Adams’s strike which slipped through the hands of goalkeeper Razak Abalora on 29 minutes.
After the break, the increased the tempo and troubled their guests more often.
Four minutes after recess, midfielder Richmond Lamptey slotted home after a neatly worked ball from the middle.
The result sees Aduana move to 10 points and still top of the league but could be toppled by Kotoko should they beat Ashantigold by a large margin tomorrow.
