Premier league side Wa All Stars have asked their players to return home until a date for the start of the Ghana Premier league is announced.
The Ghana Football Association is yet to confirm a date for the start of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier league.
Due to the uncertainty over the start date, some premier league clubs have had to alter their pre-season plans.
Wa All Stars, just like the other teams have been hit and per the current situation they have asked camping players to return home till a definite league start date is announced.
“When you are not sure when the league is starting what do you do? Only two things in my view, you either break the boys or you maintain them in camp,” All Stars coach Jimmy Cobblah said in an interview
“Sometimes it is about money and since money has become a big problem we decided to let them go home and when we are sure of the date the league is starting we will bring them back.”
Cases with the disciplinary committee of the GFA have caused the delay of the league.
