Wa All Stars moved to within a point of Hearts of Oak after a 1-0 win over Medeama in their outstanding Ghana Premier league tie.
Richard Arthur's expertly converted free kick in the 77th minute separate the two sides as Medeama were handed their third straight defeat.
The Tarkwa-based side have lost their three outstanding games against Aduana Stars, Techiman City and Wa All Stars.
Wa All Stars preserve their unbeaten home run after 22 matches in the season.
Up next for the Wa side is a home game against Bechem United while Medeama travel to Tema to face Inter Allies.
