Boxing legend Azumah Nelson has led criticism as, on Wednesday, professional boxers were given the green light to compete at the Olympic Games.
The International Boxing Association, more commonly known as AIBA, voted on the rule change with 84 of 88 delegates at an 'Extraordinary Congress' in favour.
While it remains to be seen whether any boxers from the paid ranks are serious about taking part in Rio this summer, 26 places will be up for grabs at the final qualifying event in Venezuela next month.
Although it must still be approved by the International Olympic Comittee, 'Zoom Zoom' is just one of a host of big names unimpressed by the decision.
Boxing was one of the few sports that had not been open to all professional athletes but (AIBA) say this is to ensure that the world’s best athletes are eligible to compete at the event. The change is supposed to level the playing field but top names like Mike Tyson, Bernard "The Alien" Hopkins, Carl Frampton, and Ricky Hatton have blasted the decision.
In this video, we also speak to an unhappy Azumah, and then get analysis on the decision from boxing expert Nathaniel Attoh.
