The Vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, left Accra on Monday night for the US and Brazil.
The Vice President is expected to meet with the business communities of the two countries to discuss investment opportunities in Ghana.
The Vice President is expected to be away for two weeks.
At the airport to see him off were some officials from the Office of the Vice President.
