As Vanessa Bryant continues to mourn the loss of her husband Kobe Bryant, the widowed mother is remembering the love of her life on Valentine’s Day. She posted a throwback photo of the NBA star planting a kiss on her cheek on Instagram.
Scoring the clip to Lauryn Hill’s “Tell Him,” Bryant wishes the deceased superstar a happy V-Day, calling him her “forever Valentine.”
“I love you so much. Missing you so much on your favourite holiday,” Bryant wrote beside the photo. “Te amo per sempre. Kisses to you and Gigi in heaven. Happy Valentine’s Day, my babies. With all my love, your boo-boo. â¤ï¸.”
Last week, a private funeral was held in California for Bryant and 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, who died along with seven others when the Lakers icon’s helicopter crashed last month. The two were laid to rest last Friday in Corona Del Mar, ahead of a Feb. 24 public memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for all nine victims.
