Unique Trust (UT) Financial Services, a non-banking institution, has announced plans to introduce new products in insurance and real estates development.
Mr Budu Coomson, Chief Operations Officer of UT announced at a cocktail held in Kumasi on Wednesday to mark the fifth anniversary of the establishment of its Kumasi branch.
He said management of UT would soon come out with more products to diversify its financial services currently on the market.
“With the rapid growth and expansion of the institution, we can now boast of 13 branches in Ghana and abroad. One will soon be opened in Obuasi and the next strategy is to look out for more innovations,” he added.
He said the Kumasi branch has made significant achievements within the five years especially in the area of customer service satisfaction.
Mr Budu Coomson lauded the staff for their hard work, discipline and focus, which he said had been the hallmark of UT and urged them to keep it up.
He also congratulated UT’s loyal customers for contributing to the success story.
Professor Steve Sobotie, Vice Chancellor of the University of Education, Kumasi campus, a customer who doubled as the guest of honour for the occasion, congratulated UT for making giant strides within its five years of existence despite stiff competition.
He appealed to customers of UT to honour their loan repayments.
Professor Sobotie described UT as the “friendliest” financial institution in terms of offering support to customers.
Mr Moses Agyemang, Kumasi branch Manager, was happy the branch had lived up to its objective of offering financial services to businesses in the informal sector.
“This has helped to revamp and transform ailing small scale businesses,” he said.
Awards were presented to hard working staff to serve as a moral booster.
