"Both patients are currently being kept in isolation and are stable. We have initiated processes for contact tracing," the Minister said.

He gave the assurance that the government of Ghana together with all health partners will continue to work assiduously to ensure the situation is contained.

Assuring his colleagues further, the UPSA Pro VC said, "soon the Director of Health Services will issue safety and preventive measures."

According to the Pro VC, "except for lectures all events that require massing up have been put on hold until further notice, the Learning Management Platform has been deployed to meet any contingencies.

"Deans will give further direction on this, Logistics will soon be provided to support healthy conduct of both staff and students."
