Management of Unilever Ghana Limited, title sponsors of Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards on Friday hosted national executives of the association and a delegation from Togo and La Cote D'Ivoire in Accra.
Miss Bernice Natue, Corporate Relations Manager of Unilever said management decided to assist the association to cater for foreigners invited for the awards "because Unilever believes in the tradition of sharing knowledge".
She pledged the management's continued support to GJA. Mr Bright Blewu, General Secretary of GJA said it was the first time GJA had invited journalists from other countries to the awards ceremony and was optimistic they would learn and encourage each other from their experiences.
He expressed appreciation to the management of Unilever for accepting to sponsor their guests adding "the relationship between the company and GJA would be deepened".
