Arsene Wenger got his wish as Arsenal were handed a Champions League draw against his old club Monaco on Monday
Asked about the prospect of facing Monaco, the side he managed between 1987 and 1994, Wenger said: "I'm not against it at all because it would be a visit to my first home there.
"Of course I would love to go there.I've got great memories of Monaco because they gave me a chance when I was a very young manager.
"We had many Champions League games there as well. When I arrived there, they had never passed the first round in the European Cup so we have good memories". He added
Chelsea are also off to France to face mega-bucks Paris St-Germain.
Manchester City meet Spanish giants Barcelona.
Bayer Leverkusen face Atletico Madrid, Juventus meet Borussia Dortmund and Schalke are set to battle the holders Real Madrid.
Basel - who knocked Liverpool out the competition - face Porto.

Round of 16 first leg matches will be played on 17/18 and 24/25 February and the return matches on 10/11 and 17/18 March.
