For social distancing to be observed, Dr Zakaria disclosed that the University will be accommodating one student in a room.
He further added that measures are underway to identify paired students who live outside the campus and relocate one to the university hotel.
“We have decided to implement all the protocols to the very letter. We know we might have problems with the students because generally students are difficult.
“But fortunately for us, we can see that the student themselves are concerned about the disease and the few people around are obeying the measures so the few that will be difficult, we will ensure they abide by the rules,” he stated.
On the part of the student, one expressed concern over the low compliance of the wearing of face masks in Tamale.
