DETAILS
Borussia Dortmund twice fought back to hold Champions League holders Real Madrid to a 2-2 draw.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for Real in 17 minutes on Tuesday but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled in 43 following an error from keeper Keylor Navas.
Raphael Varane converted from close range after the break but Andre Schuerrle scored three minutes from time to keep Dortmund unbeaten at home to Real in six meetings.
Sevilla took a big step towards reaching the knockout stage of the Champions League for the first time in six years as Wissam Ben Yedder’s header ensured a 1-0 win over Lyon on Tuesday.
Ben Yedder was left with the simple task of heading into an empty net from Luciano Vietto’s knockdown early in the second-half, but Vietto had a night to forget in front of goal as he skied a penalty over the bar 20 minutes from time.
Lyon hit the woodwork either side of half-time through Nabil Fekir and Corentin Tolisso, but were overrun in the second period as Sevilla held on for a deserved win.
Victory takes Jorge Sampaoli’s men level with Juventus at the top of Group H on four points after the Italian champions were 4-0 victors at Dinamo Zagreb. Lyon slip to third a point further back.
LEICESTER got a maiden UEFA Champions League home win, with Islam Slimani’s goal edging Porto 1-0. The Premier League champions have now two from two to start life in Europe, maintaining their 100 percent start to Group G. In the same group, Copenhagen needed an own-goal in the second half to kick-start a 4-0 victory over Club Brugge.
Meanwhile, Tottenham prevailed 1-0 at CSKA Moscow, with a goal from the in-form Son Heung-Min. It is his fifth goal of the season and has proven to be a great backup to the injured Harry Kane.
Goals from Bryan Ruiz and Bas Dost saw Sporting earn their first win with a 2-0 win over Legia Warsaw as they lie a point behind Dortmund and Real.
Juventus' Miralem Pjanic starred against Dinamo Zagreb in the Crotian capital as he opened the scoring before setting up Gonzalo Higuain to give Massimiliano Allegri's men a 2-0 lead. Pjanic hobbled off just after the restart before Paulo Dybala's 30-yard stunner stretched their advantage.
Dinamo goalkeeper Adrian Semper fumbled Dani Alves' late deflected effort into his own net as the Serie A champions ran out 4-0 winners.
