The Group Managing Director/CEO of United Bank for Africa, Mr. Philips Uduoza has pledged the Group’s support for the Ghanaian economy.
Mr. Uduoza made the remarks when he led a delegation of senior executives from the Group head office to pay a courtesy call to the Bank of Ghana.
While being received by the 1st and 2nd Deputy Governors, the Group MD/CEO expressed confidence in the Ghanaian economy, saying the UBA Group will continue to offer major support for businesses in Ghana and the economy as a whole.
The Deputy Governors entreated UBA to continue to develop more local talent for the growth of the local banking industry.
The visit was part of a routine tour of selected countries within the sub –region with UBA presence to interact with the bank’s stakeholders.
United Bank for Africa PLC which is one of West Africa’s largest financial services groups with assets in excess of US$20 billion and offering services to over 7.5 million customers across 750 branches and over 2,000 ATMs in 19 African countries.
