Two persons are feared dead and eight others trapped in a galamsey pit which collapsed Sunday, at Subreso in the Ashanti Region.
Reports say the area had been weakened because of the number of pits dug around the place.
Residents close to the pit managed to rescue two people who are reported dead.
Their bodies have since been deposited at the Tepa Government Hospital.
More soon.
