Casual Workers of the Ghana dock labour company have put on hold a standoff with the maritime dock workers union.
The workers on Wednesday stormed the premises of the Trades Union to register their displeasure with the union over misapplication of dues.
According to them the union which is also a majority share holder in the company has failed to fight for the welfare of members because of its vested interest.
The workers also stormed the offices of the Labour Commission accusing them of obstructing their moves to affiliate with a different union, NUHEM.
Secretary General of the Trades Union Congress, Kofi Asamoah urged the aggrieved workers to exercise restraint whiles he meets with leadership of the union for a possible resolution.
