Aquaculture Cage Farm of the Year Award
Tropo Farms Ltd's innovative farming practices and superior production capabilities have set new standards in the aquaculture industry. With farm sites in Mpakadan, Asutsuare, and Anyaase, the company operates 72 offshore cages with a total capacity of 1,900 MT and 120 cages in Mpakadan alone with a capacity of 576 MT.
The Asutsuare site features 14 ponds covering 1,800 square meters, while the Anyaase site hosts 86 ponds of various sizes. This award recognizes Tropo Farms' exceptional contributions to sustainable aquaculture and their relentless pursuit of quality.

With an annual production capacity of over 13,000 metric tonnes, and a target to reach 15,000 MT this year, Tropo Farms Ltd has established itself as the largest tilapia farm in West Africa.
Corporate Social Responsibility of the Year
Tropo Farms Ltd.’s commitment to community welfare and sustainable development earned them the Corporate Social Responsibility of the Year award. The company's extensive CSR activities include substantial donations to the Mpakadan Presbyterian Junior High School, monthly contributions to the Dream Africa Foundation in Teshie-Nungua, and fresh tilapia donations to Manhyia Palace in honour of the Ashanti King's Silver Jubilee.

Additionally, Tropo Farms supported the Ghana Policewomen’s Association in Kumasi and contributed to the Blue Food Festival at the British High Commission in Accra, highlighting their dedication to education, sports, cultural heritage, and community welfare.
Aquaculture Marketer of the Year
The Volta Catch Tilapia has captured the hearts and taste buds of consumers in Ghana and beyond. Our extensive distribution network spans key locations including Malata, Kasoa, Tema, Atimpoku, Takoradi, and Kumasi, ensuring that fresh tilapia is readily available for purchase.

The company also actively exports to Côte d'Ivoire, collaborating with Roukass Fish in Abidjan for shipments of over 2 MT every 2 to 3 weeks. The Volta Catch Tilapia brand, known for its motto "Simply Fresh, Always Delicious," has achieved widespread recognition.
With an annual production capacity exceeding 13,000 metric tonnes and a robust distribution network across Ghana, Tropo Farms continues to meet and exceed consumer expectations, both locally and through exports to Côte d'Ivoire.
