The Kotoka International Airport was hit Monday, with erratic power outages, leaving travelers stranded for the better part of one hour.
Stranded passengers were irritated they could not go through departure formalities, while there was no word what was happening.
Confirming the report, one of the passengers, Emmanuel Quarshie who was enplaning to Amsterdam, told Joy News they had been waiting for over an hour to complete flight formalities.
He said there were long queses of travelers waiting to complete flight arrangements but the systems to service the queues were all down.
Workers at the airport resorted to using rechargeable lamps to provide light.
