The Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Training Institute (TPTI) held its 8th Graduation last Friday, sending 119 newly certified Medicine Counter Assistants (MCAs) into Ghana's healthcare workforce.

The ceremony, held at the Tobinco Media Group's SIKA Hall in Accra, focused on empowering graduates to strive for excellence and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Ghanaians.

The theme "Unlocking Potentials and Pursuing Excellence" highlighted the dedication and hard work of students completing six-month and one-year MCA programs.

Rev. Joseph Ahiable, TPTI's Director, emphasised the institute's origins, stating that it was established during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic under the vision of Elder Dr. Samuel Amo Tobbin to provide accessible and high-quality healthcare training.

He expressed pride in the graduates' readiness to contribute to Ghana's healthcare system and hinted at plans to expand TPTI's reach nationwide.

Apostle Kingsley Addai, Resident Minister of PIWC-Accra, delivered a powerful keynote address.

He encouraged the graduates to recognise their potential and use their education to transform lives. He praised TPTI's practical approach to training and called it a model for other educational institutions.

The graduation also celebrated outstanding student achievements.

Abigail Adzigbli, a midwife and working mother, received the Best Student award for Batch 12, showcasing her remarkable resilience. Mr. Mensah Sekyi, a Ghana Armed Forces officer, was recognised for his leadership in the Batch 13 Weekend Class. Benjamin Kobina Okyere, a recent high school graduate, was named Overall Best Student for his consistent support and academic guidance. Angela Parker-London, a social media influencer, received a special award for effectively using TikTok to promote the institute, attracting numerous students.

Beyond the awards, the ceremony highlighted TPTI's dedication to cultivating compassionate and skilled pharmaceutical professionals. Rev. Ahiable urged graduates to embody the institute's values of discipline, compassion, and integrity in their careers, reminding them that excellence is a continuous journey.

TPTI continues to solidify its position as a leading health education provider in Ghana, producing graduates prepared to serve their communities and positively impact the nation's healthcare landscape.
