The continent's football governing body, Caf, has appointed Tony Baffoe as match commissioner for Nigeria's world cup qualifier against Kenya at the Abuja Stadium on Sunday.
The Ex-Ghana defender wants to cut his teeth in football management after an earlier Caf appointment.
Baffoe was named as one of the technical experts for the maiden edition of the African Nations Championship in Ivory Coast in March.
The 44-year-old is said to have impressed Caf officials at the CHAN tournament and wants to reward him with this new role.
