He said registered subscribers who spend GH¢5 in a month stand to get GH¢200 insurance cover for themselves and for the family member they register in the event of a natural death.
Mr. Quaynor-Vanderpuye said “GH¢10 spent in a month qualifies the subscriber for an insurance cover worth GH¢400, GH¢15 spent earns GH¢600 insurance cover, GH¢25 earns GH¢800 and GH¢40 earns GH¢1,000 insurance cover.”
He said in the event of the natural death of the subscriber’s family member registered on the Family Care Insurance, the subscriber would be required to make a report with an ID and a death certificate to redeem the cover amount in 72 hours.
Mr. Quaynor-Vanderpuye however noted that an insurance cover for a particular month cannot be rolled over if not claimed in that month.
“The product covers only natural death, which does not include deaths caused by war, riot, criminal activity, and drug or alcohol abuse,” he said.
