A circuit court at Nkawie presided over by Mr Noble Nkrumah, has remanded three suspects of Mpasatia in the Atwima Mponua District for allegedly stealing a sheep.
They are Yaw Afriyie, Bernard Brobbey and Robert Adjei. Their accomplice, one Kofi Prince is on the run.
The three pleaded not guilty and will re-appear before the court on December 4, this year.
Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector H.A. Agyare told the court that, on November 26 this year, at about 12:15 am, members of the Mpasatia neighbourhood watch committee, on their normal night patrols intercepted the four suspects with a sheep wrapped in white calico.
According to the prosecution, during interrogation they threw the sheep away and took to their heels but they were given a hot chase and three of them were arrested whilst Prince managed to escape.
