Three students of the Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana, Legon, have been arrested by the Police for allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be Indian hemp.
The Legon District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mr Michael Tecku identified the students as Komla Sewu, Edward Agyare-Nyarko and Alexander Adupa.
He said the students attempted to escape when they saw the Police patrol team, but they were given a hot chase and arrested.
Mr Tecku said the students had been released on police enquiry bail.
