Thirteen passengers received injuries when a Benz bus travelling from Agona Swedru to Accra was involved in an accident near Gomoa Oguaakrom on the Winneba-Swedru road on Monday.
Seven of them were treated and discharged at the Winneba Government Hospital on the same day and those admitted were discharged on Tuesday.
Assistant Superintendent of Police and Winneba Motor Transport and Traffic Unit Commander, Eunice Bosompim speaking to Ghana News Agency at Winneba on Wednesday said the accident occurred when one of the rear tyres of the bus got off forcing the vehicle into a ditch.
