Ghanaian forward Thelma Baffour was heavily involved in TP Mazembe’s DR Congo Cup triumph.
The Ghana U-20 striker contributed directly to 8 goals en route to her side lifting the title earlier this week.
The former Jonina Ladies star scored three goals and provided five assists in seven games for TP Mazembe.
Their triumph in the cup competition secured them a slot in the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
TP Mazembe women will represent the DRC at the UNIFFAC (Union of Central African Football Federations) tournament qualifying for the 2024 Champions League.
The win also marks the first time TP Mazembe women have won the DR Congo Championship after recent successes in 2022 and 2023.
