Have you ever stopped to imagine the tremendous impact the church could achieve if even just 40% of its members were faithful in giving to support God's work? Now, take a moment to envision a scenario where only 10% of the world's richest billionaires commit just 10% of their wealth to fund the gospel. It becomes evident that increased funding could propel the church to achieve so much more!
Regrettably, many of these billionaires are not committed Christians, which could partly explain the prevalence of evil in the world. Some may even invest in projects that directly oppose the kingdom of God. Yet, envision the potential when more financial resources are made available for worldwide evangelism.
With greater funding, the church could make a substantial impact in reaching more souls for Christ. It would have the means to minister more effectively to its members, help the needy, and provide financial support to missionaries spreading the gospel abroad. The sight of unfinished church buildings due to a lack of funds could be replaced with thriving congregations, and we could witness more wealthy Christian entrepreneurs and professionals redirecting their resources toward God's kingdom.
In this critical time, there is an urgent call for a new generation of wealthy Christian businesspeople who will step up and take on the responsibility of financing the gospel. By committing their resources to the kingdom, they can play a significant role in advancing God's work on earth. This shift in financial support would enable ministries to expand their reach and impact, furthering the mission of bringing hope and salvation to a world in need.
Together, as faithful stewards of God's blessings, we can usher in a new era of global evangelism and transformation, empowering the church to accomplish even greater things for the glory of God.
Increasing Financial Support for The Gospel
Absolutely! The advancement of God's kingdom requires substantial financial resources. Without adequate funding, fulfilling the Great Commission becomes a challenging task. In our world, which is increasingly decaying, it is crucial to saturate every aspect of society with the good news of the gospel. Financing serves as the indispensable vehicle that propels the message of hope and redemption to reach the masses. Whenever God wants to accomplish His work, He employs people and their financial resources.
It is essential to grasp that when God blesses individuals, it is not merely for personal gain but with the purpose of furthering His kingdom. As the Bible instructs, "Seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto thee." Therefore, supporting kingdom activities should be a priority for Holy Spirit-filled Christian entrepreneurs.
In today's world, there is a pervasive inclination to promote worldly endeavors over kingdom-related activities. However, without willing supporters of the gospel, the church faces significant limitations. We must acknowledge that certain endeavors can only be achieved through financial backing. While prayer and fasting are vital spiritual exercises, some tasks require the financial means to accomplish them. For instance, purchasing a stage for a crusade necessitates financial investment, irrespective of one's anointing.
Therefore, it becomes paramount for us to understand the role of finances in advancing God's kingdom. Let us venture into the marketplace with a vision to create wealth that will support the gospel's dissemination. The Kingdom of God indeed needs financial backing, and we must all join hands to invest in its expansion and reach the unreached with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
We Have Large Numbers of Unreached People More Than Ever!
It will interest you to know that millions of people in the world are yet to hear the good news of the kingdom not to talk about accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. Do you see the reason why we need large financial resources to fund missionary outreaches?
According to the Joshua Project (www.joshuapro-ject.net), there are huge unreached numbers of people in the following places in the world. There are millions of unreached tribes in India, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Cambodia, Nigeria, Indonesia, Burma, Iraq and more! India alone has over 20 different tribes that are yet to be reached with the gospel! In all, about 1,886,505,000 (close to two billion) people in the world are yet to hear the good news of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. These figures should make us arise out of our slumber. There is a lot more to be done!
Satan and His Team are Investing More Funds to Advance Their Kingdom
Some entrepreneurs have sinister intentions and seek to hinder the spread of the gospel. Wealthy individuals may plan to undermine the kingdom of God, and certain business executives belonging to cults aim to dominate the corporate world while recruiting others for the kingdom of darkness. In the face of these challenges, it becomes imperative for you to view your business as a divine calling to advance the gospel.
Various companies intentionally release products designed to frustrate Christians, and there are agents of darkness strategically positioned in certain circles to impede the progress of the good news of the kingdom. Reflecting on the actions of the chief priests and elders who sought to prevent the news of Jesus' resurrection, we realize that similar efforts persist in contemporary times.
It is crucial for believers to remain vigilant and steadfast, recognizing the spiritual battles at play in the business world and society. As Christian entrepreneurs, professionals, and individuals, our mission is to counteract the forces that oppose the gospel and actively work to promote and spread God's kingdom on earth.
By embracing our businesses and careers as a calling from God, we become agents of positive change, seeking to impact lives and communities with the message of hope, love, and redemption found in the gospel.
Now while they were going, behold, some of the guards came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened. When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.” So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

God Needs Your Money, Not Just Your Soul!
During the Lussane Committee for World Evangelism held in Pattaya, Thailand, from September 29 to October 5, 2004, focusing on "Funding for Evangelism and Missions," it was highlighted that God often uses the resources of this world to accomplish His work, with human and financial resources being of great significance to the church's mission. The history of evangelism and missions reveals both remarkable achievements for the kingdom and instances of economic abuse within the Body of Christ. While money can be a powerful tool for catalyzing mission, its misuse or lack of integrity can also lead to significant harm.
The challenges faced in the funding arena can be categorized as follows:
- Shortage of funds hindering the accomplishment of reasonable goals.
- Misuse of funds by ministry personnel and organizations.
- Distortion of biblical principles and standards in fund development.
It is essential to recognize that God relies on our financial resources to advance His agenda on earth and establish His kingdom in the hearts of people. The realization of this truth should resonate within us. Understandably, there may be concerns and reservations about investing financial resources in the kingdom, given the past mismanagement or abuse by certain Christian leaders. However, their actions should not deter us from contributing to the vital business of saving souls. Supporting the kingdom's mission is of utmost importance, even in the face of potential charlatans within the system.
The current state of the world's population, with over seven billion people and only about fifty percent adherents of Christianity, underscores the immense task ahead. The urgency to carry out the great commission is undeniable.
Rev. Kenneth Erwin Hagin, in his book "The Midas Touch," aptly noted that poverty-stricken individuals face limitations in fulfilling the great commission. Lack of funds hinders their ability to go into all the world and support others in the mission. Therefore, it is God's plan and will for His people to prosper, not for selfish gain, but to help accomplish His mission.
In conclusion, let us embrace the call to support God's mission with our financial resources. Despite the challenges and past mistakes, we must remain steadfast in our commitment to furthering the kingdom's work on earth. By doing so, we align with God's purpose and open ourselves to the potential blessings and prosperity that come from seeking to fulfill His will.Top of Form
God Needs Your Financial Resources and Not Just Your Time!
Paying tithes and offerings is just the starting point for a Christian entrepreneur or professional. While it is important to give faithfully to the church, God's expectations go beyond monetary contributions. He desires active involvement in world evangelization and ministry work. As a follower of Christ, you are called to use all your resources, not just your money, to advance His kingdom. This means being a living example of the gospel wherever you go, and becoming a true ambassador for the kingdom. God's ultimate desire is to save the lost, and He wants you to participate in every possible way. Mere financial giving without personal engagement may not fulfill His complete purpose.
It is essential to avoid the misconception that one's status in their profession exempts them from evangelizing or ministering to others. God places a high value on souls, and He expects all His followers to be involved in spreading His message, regardless of their social or professional standing. Making excuses based on one's position or influence is not in line with God's heart. It is crucial to understand that monetary contributions alone do not fulfill our responsibilities as ambassadors of Christ. Giving generously in church while living a life contrary to God's principles is deceptive and misguided. Instead, God desires genuine commitment and a transformational lifestyle that reflects His love and grace.
So, dear professional, do not be deceived by the belief that financial giving is all God requires from you. Embrace your role as an ambassador of Christ and actively participate in ministry work. Live a life that aligns with your status as a representative of the King, and let your actions and words preach the gospel to the world around you. Top of Form
GET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT!
Getting our priorities right is of utmost importance. It is crucial to examine and establish our motives when seeking financial prosperity. God's plans for blessing us extend beyond personal enjoyment; they are interconnected with His kingdom's advancement. It deeply saddens Him when we misuse His blessings to finance agendas that are contrary to His will, such as supporting Satan's schemes.
As we pursue prosperity, we must reflect on our reasons for doing so. Are we seeking financial abundance to minister to others and support world evangelization, or is it merely for indulging in luxurious living? Our hearts' true intentions will determine the impact of our prosperity. While enjoying material comforts is not sinful in itself, God calls us to a higher purpose. Investing our financial resources in God's kingdom brings forth manifold blessings, not just in material possessions, but also in spiritual fulfillment. When we prioritize God's kingdom and seek to fulfill His purposes, He ensures that our needs are met, including houses, cars, fame, and more.
Christian leaders must also be cautious not to be driven solely by collecting money from wealthy non-believers. Rather, our primary focus should be on winning hearts for the kingdom of God, leading others to receive the gift of eternal life. We should shift our focus from accumulating wealth for personal gain to investing in the advancement of God's kingdom. God is displeased with those who hoard their blessings and covet more, without giving back to His work. It is vital to recognize that giving generously to God's kingdom is not about the amount but about the heart's willingness to share what we already have.
In conclusion, let us seek financial prosperity with pure motives, aligning our hearts with God's kingdom purposes. When we invest in His work, He will abundantly bless us, and our prosperity will become a means to further His mission on earth. May our focus be on eternity and the transformation of lives, rather than solely on worldly possessions and temporary pleasures.
Kingdom financiers, especially entrepreneurs, often face numerous challenges in their journey. Some may encounter the loss of business contracts, while others might even experience the devastating blow of losing their entire investments. In some cases, they may find themselves under spiritual attacks from dark forces. Amidst these trials, it becomes crucial to provide them with unwavering encouragement to stand firm and continue supporting the gospel.
If you hold a significant financial role in your local church, it is important not to be disheartened by the challenges your business is currently facing. Remember that our struggle is not merely against human adversaries, but against spiritual powers and wickedness in the heavenly realms. As stated in Ephesians 6:12-13 NKJV, we must equip ourselves with the whole armour of God to withstand the evil day and remain steadfast.
In the present age, there are entrepreneurs and professionals who are making substantial investments in the kingdom's work. These individuals are committing vast financial resources to further the cause of the gospel. Though their efforts may not always receive widespread recognition, they need to be celebrated and encouraged for the invaluable contributions they make in the Lord's vineyard. The more such individuals we have in the kingdom, the more churches will be established, more souls will be saved, and more disciples will be raised to carry out the ministry's work.
We should strive to see a greater number of kingdom financiers, willingly pouring millions and billions of dollars into world evangelization. Let us seek the Lord's assistance in this endeavour, so that His work may be accomplished and His message spread everywhere. Together, let us support these dedicated individuals who are sowing into the eternal mission of God's kingdom.
