Gospel minister Maureen Biniyam is on a mission to create timeless records that are deeply rooted in God’s word, and she exhibits it in her new single ‘Thank You My Father’.
The song, originally released in late 2024 paints a picture of Maureen’s journey of faith and trust in God through some challenging and difficult moments. ‘Thank You My Father’ follows a similar trend of its preceding release ‘Hallelujah’, motivating people to exercise unwavering faith in God in different seasons.

In a conversation with Joy Entertainment, US-based Maureen Biniyam explained, “the heart of this song is seeing Jesus as the anchor, despite the storms of life. It emphasizes the truth that, even in the darkest seasons, God is still God—unchanging, unwavering, and always present”.
‘Thank You My Father’ also draws inspiration from Psalm 136, which discusses the goodness of God and His forever enduring love. The song is accompanied by a scenic video that is available on Youtube
