President Akufo-Addo has commended the Chiefs and people of Hohoe for electing John Peter Amewu as the Member of Parliament during the 2020 general elections.
The President who made the comments at the durbar of the Gbi Traditional Council held in Hohoe noted that, the MP for Hohoe has been a dynamic, hardworking minister and a great son of the soil.
"We thank you for the very dynamic Member of Parliament given us in the person of John Peter Amewu, We thank you for giving me John Peter Amewu," President Akufo-Addo said.
He noted that Hohoe was the stronghold for the United Party which fortunately now has its descendant some 60 years ago.
The President assured the people of Hohoe that all developmental projects started will be completed with new ones also started.
The President during his tour inspected and commissioned some projects in the Municipality.
