A Pan African business solutions provider, Tenth Generation Technology Systems Services, has organised a workshop for human resource practitioners at Holiday Inn at Airport Residential Area in Accra.
The company is focused on implementing SAP-based solutions across Africa in specific sectors such as government, mining, manufacturing, revenue collection agencies
Under the theme, ‘Improve Your Human Experience Management: The Digital Transformation,’ the workshop seeks to educate HR practitioners on TGT’s software application that will enable employers to monitor employees' performance to increase productivity.
Over 100 HR professionals who participated in the workshop were taken through various topics such as Integrated Financial Management Information Systems, Tax and Revenue Management, Electronic Content Management Services, Land Information System and Land Administration Services and monitoring and evaluation and Data collection Services by two officials of SAP, Egboh Jerry and Dangise.
In an interview after the workshop, the CEO of the company Mr Tony Ntiador advocated digitisation of people management which according will ensure efficiency that will enhance the productivity of every company that follows his advice.
He said doing that requires a very solid platform that can help from the experience sharing, knowledge sharing, knowledge transfer, coaching and payroll.
Mr Ntiador added that implementation of digitization of employee management in every organization will offer them the opportunity to appreciate how technology can make their services more human-centric and their staff can give them the best results expected of them.
He noted that the full spectrum of all is to make sure that employees are monitored to give their best.
Mr Ntiador cited an example of how Covid-19 compelled employees to work from home where monitoring and evaluation was a challenge but for some organizations that have digitized their employee management will find it easily monitoring them.
“How do you ensure that employees working from home give me certain productivity within the mandated 8 hours,” asked Mr Ntiador.
To manage your staff and get the productivity that you desire with the right resources no company will fold up.
Mr Ntiador pledged his support to others calling for the digitization in the public sector to enhance productivity.
