The Tepa Traditional Council in the Ahafo Ano North District of the Ashanti Region has pledged to support the Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College to improve infrastructure.
The traditional council would support the college with GHȼ10,000 and 10 trips of sand as part of efforts to increase accommodation and lecture rooms among others.
Over the years, the traditional council has contributed significantly to the development of the institution in the area of accommodation and lecture rooms.
According to the Council, even though many donations and contributions were given to the school years ago, chunks of such gestures were misapplied at the expense of the development of the institution.

Speaking at a matriculation ceremony, the Paramount Chief of the Tepa Traditional Area, Nana Adusei Atwenewaa Ampem I, lauded the current principal for his commitment to the development of the school.
Nana Adusei urged him to continuously work hard to make the Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College one of the best institutions in Ghana in terms of infrastructural development and academic performance.

The Paramount Chief also admonished the students to concentrate solely on their academic work instead of indulging in acts that may hinder their educational dreams.

The Principal of the College, Mr. Albert Opoku said management has instituted a five-year developmental plan to significantly transform the college through the support of philanthropists and other well-wishers.
He said the plan is intended to develop hostels, classroom blocks, and staff accommodation, sporting and entertainment facilities.

Mr. Opoku thanked the traditional council and the other benevolent individuals including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the Director General of NADMO, Eric Nana Agyemang-Prempeh for their efforts. He assured that the funds will be put to good use.

He advised the students to take their studies seriously to be able to achieve their academic goals.
