Ten Keys For Success (Part I)

As we round up activities for 2010 and prepare to start a new year in January 2011, we can explore a few key principles and practical steps we can take to obtain resounding victory, become prosperous, and achieve success in all aspects of life for the great future ahead of us. I have often said that true success is designed for the person who prepares to achieve productive results, and learns to trust God for his or her plans and activities. The times are really rough and uncertain, and we therefore need to plan for success and true prosperity for the future ahead of us, more that any time in history. If we do not prepare to work hard and leave a solid legacy of integrity, fruitfulness, and genuine success for posterity, then our children will have no hope to make progress and achieve a successful future. What Is The Main Purpose For Success And True Prosperity? With all the various kinds of correct as well as bizarre forms of definitions and explanations for true prosperity and real success, we have to first of all ask ourselves this fundamental question: If God is the ultimate Giver and Provider of true prosperity and genuine success, then what are His primary motives and objectives? I believe that Moses provides the answer in his final discourse and admonition to the Israelites. “You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth (prospers you and makes you successful), that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day” (Deuteronomy 8: 18). We can clearly see that God blesses us, and graciously grants us prosperity and success in what we do, with the principal aim to establish His covenant with us. God has a purpose to establish a bond with us in intimate relationship and deep fellowship that enables us to worship and live to His glory, for him to pour more blessings into our lives. In simple terms, God blesses us and gives us prosperity and success in order to establish a relationship with us. If your material, financial, economic, spiritual, ministerial, social, political, academic, business, professional, positional, marital, family, parental, and other forms of success and prosperity do not make you have a closer walk with God, deepen your fellowship and relationship with the Lord, and make you a responsible citizen of your community, then you have woefully missed the mark! CAUTION FOR MINISTERS AND CHURCH LEADERS It is possible to even be an eminent leader of a church, ministry, or Christian organization, that God originally made prosperous and successful; but you have now lost your original cutting edge due to arrogance, disobedience, carnality, selfishness, love for money, greed for material gain, and human control. The true essence of your ministry or position of spiritual influence is presently adulterated or eroded, and what God prospered and entrusted to you to be a good steward of, has now become a source or center of worldliness, personal affluence, human ideologies, mere programs, ostentation, moral decay, material pursuits, and sometimes even occult practices. The prosperity and success God gave you in ministry and position of Christian authority is no more promoting any godly covenant relationship with God, and is fast becoming a curse instead of a blessing! Please take caution! CAUTION FOR COURTING INDIVIDUALS, MARRIED PERSONS, AND FAMILIES Several people in romantic relationships, marriages, homes, and families that God has blessed and prospered, have veered off their original commitment and have corrupted the purity of their godliness. The fiancée, husband, wife, children, family members or other relatives have drifted off the spiritual godly road to Heaven, and have caused the prosperity and success to become tools in the hands of the devil, evil human selfishness, and the sinful world, to their own final destruction. Please take caution! CAUTION FOR POLITICIANS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS God-fearing politicians, professional executives, and other leaders in our communities who are elected into office after prayer and exhibition of moral uprightness on their part, can become prosperous and successful in their positions. Then to the surprise of everyone, they become corrupt and arrogant or lazy overnight without any fear of God guiding them anymore. They lose a heart of gratitude to God who allowed them to occupy those positions. Bribery, undermining or frustration of those who do not agree with their corrupt lifestyle or give them bribes, and reckless decisions, become the order of the day. They make no effort to use their prosperity and success to establish a better relationship with God. They rather use fake means to increase their prosperity. In the end the opportunities they graciously obtained from God and the trust reposed in them by their people never profit the people they represent, and produce no eternal dividends or glory to God. Most often, tragic consequences rather result, characterized by monumental financial corruption, moral degradation, destruction of the organizations and structures they inherited, spiritual bankruptcy, physical illness, suffering, devastation, and shame. The majority of such leaders, who make a mess of prosperity and success, leave tons of problems behind for everyone after leaving office, and they depart out of this world with a repulsive memory of ban names and tainted testimonies. Please take caution! What All Humans Look For In Life After careful observation, I have come to know and understand that no human being desires failure in life, and is not willing to accept any form of failure even if it came by chance or by any design that is not his or her own. What all of us crave for and expect in every phase of our short life here on earth can be summarized in four key words that I call the 4 S’s: 1) Success; 2) Satisfaction; 3) Significance; 4) Security Each of us wants to become successful in everything we say and do, and desire to see prosperity characterizing every project that we undertake. We want successful health, successful marriage, successful parenting, successful in-law relations, successful family life, successful education, successful economy, successful personal finances, successful investments, successful business, successful career pursuits, successful ministry, successful friendship, etc. We also want to acquire real satisfaction, and we therefore make every effort to obtain successful results that really satisfy us, and make us happy. We strive to enjoy our success to the fullest measure. But that does not end there. We also wish to ensure that our success becomes significant, and is recognized by people as something of importance. Finally we become deeply concerned about the security of the particular success and its respective significance – we strongly wish to maintain and get more of the success and its eminence in society. Do We Always Get What We Want? But, do we get our wishes and dreams always fulfilled by having constant and complete success, satisfaction, significance, and security for everything? No! Never! To get all four to the exact level you wish is an enormous task. Some people have financial, educational, ministerial, career, business, health, marital, or parental failures right from the onset of their lives, and either barely overcome their difficulties, or never really obtain any success. Some people obtain great results in the eyes of everyone, but never really enjoy any satisfaction within them for several reasons. This happens especially when the quality or content of their success falls short of their highest dreams, or when they compare their results with those of a competitor or neighbor, and are tempted to wish that they obtained something similar or better. Other people have considerable success, but end up poorly at the finishing line because their success was shattered by the lack of adequate protection of their legacy. Others get things going very well for them till the end, but sought for recognition that eluded them. The successful results fall to the backseat unnoticed, and never get to the driver’s seat for anyone; other people’s success becomes buried under a pile on the shelf, gathers considerable dust, and is forgotten in the annals of history. There are people trying so hard to achieve a lot in various sectors of life, but are never able to let people know of the great achievements, and do not get their goods marketed or disseminated to bless others because of lack of opportunity to be promoted to the platforms of significance. This, I believe, explains why humans are in the constant frenzy of striving and struggling for achievements in almost everything in life. We work very hard to get these priorities of ours in place. When we yield to the temptation of greed and competition with others for the same or greater success, satisfaction, significance, and security, we unfortunately cause our worries and life struggles to grow even more intense – often too intense to our disadvantage and even our demise. What Should We Do To Get What We Desire? The big questions then are: 1) What are we really supposed to do in order to obtain all of our success, satisfaction, significance, and security? 2) How should we live in order to attain all these commanding heights and become content? 3) Is there a key to obtain true success in life that we need to learn and use effectively? I believe that there are some answers to these questions, provided by the Creator Himself, and I found fundamental answers in places like Joshua 1:1-11 of the Bible. It is unfortunate that many of us are groping in the dark, and either do not have any vision regarding where we are headed in life, or have fuzzy dreams about what we really want to do with our lives and obtain satisfying success in those areas and in whatever capacities we find ourselves. I would want us to explore 10 keys I discovered in this passage that, I believe, underline the definition, description, realization, and establishment of true prosperity and success, and which constitute the keys that open all the ten doors that will ultimately lead you into the rooms where God has prepared and securely stored all of your destined possessions for your benefit. The Lord is waiting for you to get to that position of your destination through faith and obedience, and collect your precious hidden treasures that have your name written on them. THE TEN KEYS FOR TRUE SUCCESS 1) KEY #1 --- BE COMMITTED TO GOD AND TO PEOPLE. “After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant” (Joshua 1:1). “Your Lord” means someone who is “the absolute Master over your life” --- someone who has complete control over your life, because you are fully committed to the one you serve. A servant serves a Master, but it does not imply that the servant is controlled and directed by the Master in all matters of life. Each of us must go beyond the position of making God our Master, and strive to the position of making Him Lord. It was “The Lord” who spoke to Joshua. This means that Joshua received all those instructions and assurances for success because he had made God Almighty the Lord over his life. God did not choose Joshua and expected him to just serve him as a servant among the people, without surrendering his desires, plans, ambitions, thoughts, activities etc. to His sovereign will, in order to become a true God’s chosen Leader for God’ people. The initial proof of Joshua’s submission to the Lord’s control was his submission to the authority and mentoring techniques of Moses, and his faithfulness in spying the Promised Land to bring a true report to the Israelites. Joshua’s sincere account was rooted in faith that he possessed in the Lord God who made the promises to Israel about their inheritance, and whom he was zealously serving. True Success And Privileges Go With Responsibilities Today many people wish to see great things happening in their lives, and have a strong desire to become successful in all they do. Unfortunately, the majority of people tend to avoid the required commitment involved in their expectations, which is primarily an absolute commitment to God’s principles and God’s ways, and commitment to people they deal with. In every agreement, contract, or covenant between two parties, each side has a required role to play in order for the agreement to be acceptable and complete. God desires to make an unbreakable covenant with each human being. There is therefore an obligatory part that God has promised to play, while each of us have to play our expected part by submitting to God’s will, making good use of the gifts He has already given us, and living in righteousness. That should lead you to exhibit total commitment to work for your welfare as well the wellbeing of any person you are dealing with. If you want a good husband or wife, and a successful marriage or family life, then you must abide by the holy rules and responsible standards that befit such a successful marriage or family life. You cannot be lazy on the job, make fraudulent deals for your business, or become delinquent in your academic work, and then expect God to bless your academic, business, job, and career developmental efforts. It is even more crucial in ministerial, evangelistic, and church initiatives, where God expects the pastor, minister, evangelist, or church leader to set a godly example and exhibit God’s standards for the world to emulate and promote the establishment of the Kingdom of God, to His glory. Personal commitment is necessary to fulfill responsibilities for success. We must make every effort to use every available resource at our disposal to build wise, peaceful, and productive relationships, and be people builders at home and outside of our homes, instead of the wrong focus on merely building physical structures and organizations. 2) KEY # 2 --- DEAL WITH YOUR PAST “The Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: ‘Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them --- the children of Israel.” The first important information and understanding that God wanted to establish in the mind and heart of Joshua was the fact that Moses His servant (and Joshua’s mentor) was dead. The Lord realized that if He did not get the mind of Joshua off the guidance of his mentor Moses, and remove his hope of dependence upon the faith and the leadership of Moses, Joshua would not have the required desire, wisdom, and courage to lead the Israelites confidently to their final destination. The Rod of Moses that used for miracles was no more, and Joshua had to prepare to receive his personal instructions from God and do things differently from then on. Why Do You Have to Deal With Your Past? There are many people who either do not know, tend to ignore, or simply refuse to consider important facts surrounding their past life that need to be properly dealt with, as they seek to make progress into new areas of life. In that case they do not take positive steps to make any necessary changes, re-affirmations, and adjustments in order to move ahead more decisively and progressively for the rest of their lives. Some people feed so much on their past that they literally live in the past all the time, and make no real progress in life because of lack of proper focus on the productive future ahead of them. Typical in this category are: divorced individuals; single parents who are not married; people who are deeply disappointed by past lovers; disappointed politicians; those who have lost their jobs or an important opportunity; those who have experienced unexpected death of loved ones; people whose reputation was tarnished by false accusation, a scandal, or some other problem; individuals with tragic occurrences and heavy losses; a mistake that has brought about a disability or incurable illness; serious financial loss; devastation of a business or investment; loss of precious property etc. If you wish to see success and victory in your life, then it is important and necessary to deal with your past, because of at least 12 vital reasons that I have thought through: 1) Past mistakes and deficiencies can blur your clear view of life in general, and especially cloud the future that God intends for you to look forward to. You may see life as haze consisting only of mistakes along the way, without focusing on the good aspects of a meaningful life. 2) Past failures and weaknesses could inject discouragement and regrets so deep into you that you lose every desire to try taking on assignments or taking initiatives anymore. 3) Unbelief and lack of faith will always characterize any life that is constantly looking back instead of looking forward towards the expected goal. 4) Interferences of our past pain and regrets in the plans of our present life, are great contributing factors towards our partial or complete loss of focus and purpose in life, or absence of progress for a particular project. 5) Any demonic spirits behind sins and bad habits of the past would still be operating and might even be given wider doors through discouragement and unbelief, to do more damage to your future plans. Past problems and mistakes could be wide-opened windows for satanic attacks, and could even open the door for witchcraft activities in your life that could make you an ultimate agent of the devil against the plans of the Lord. There are many marriages, love relationships, businesses, educational efforts, career planning, and ministries that are not progressing because the leaders and close people involved have open doors for several forms of satanic and human attacks to assail them relentlessly. 6) Not settling in our hearts to give God all the glory for our past successes, can create an air of superiority and arrogance around us, deceive us to become complacent and self-sufficient, cause us to become proud, and set the stage for our own demise. 7) People who do not like you or who do not agree with you could be incited by the flesh and the devil to use your past as a weapon against you if you allow them to recognize that your past bothers you, or is a hindrance to your progress. 8) If we force to push ahead with any good agenda for future development and productivity along with a baggage of unresolved past hurts, wounds, disobedience, and other sins or problems, the ultimate harvest could be seriously hindered, and the fruits of our life could be terribly infected and adulterated. 9) It is more difficult to trust and work cooperatively with people when we interact closely with them while we carry a load of unresolved issues of our past, and old diseased or dark components of our past life that need to be dealt with. For example, we might be so hurt by someone in a previous abusive or unsuccessful relationship that it becomes a monumental task to step out in faith to open our minds and hearts to trust anyone. 10) If you do not deal with your past properly, you cannot help others to deal with their damaging past as well, and that would hinder your being a noble vessel in the Hands of God for Him to use to restore the broken or wounded lives of others. 11) Unresolved issues and deep matters of your past will always dampen joy and contentment in your soul, and your bitter spirit will therefore never allow you to live a grateful life that is full of praise and thanksgiving to God, and thankfulness to people who came (or would come) into your life. 12) God expects us to give all of our past problems, failures, and successes to Him, in order for Him to straighten all that is crooked, renew and refresh us, and lead us into His glorious future plans. Allowing the negatives or the prosperity of your past to interfere with your future walk with God or progress in life is therefore an act of disobedience to God. In summary, if you do not fully deal with your past, you can never enter into your future. Our God is a great and loving God of restoration and healing. God desires primarily to restore you into fellowship with Him, and ultimately build a strong relationship with Him. No matter how sinful and rotten you feel or know that you are, or how foolishly and profoundly you have strayed in the camp of the flesh and Satan, the Lord Jesus Christ has the power, mercy, and willingness to cleanse, mend your broken life, and restore you to the position God originally intended for you to occupy. The Lord is ever ready to fix all of your brokenness, but you must be willing to give Him all of the broken pieces yourself, before He can completely heal and restore you. Nobody can do that for you. “God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147: 3). 3) KEY # 3 --- BE PREPARED “The Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: ‘Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise (prepare) , go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them --- the children of Israel.” “Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, ‘Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess” (Joshua 1: 2, 10, 11). Battles are part of our destiny. If you are not having any battles, then probably you are not making much difference in the lives of the people around you. In all battles there is no substitute for victory. Someone said: “Be kind to everyone you meet, because everyone has some battle that he or she is fighting.” You may be knocked down as you fight, but make sure you are not knocked out! To win any battle, you need strategy, which comes through adequate preparation and planning. Whatever you ask from God (or even ask from a good parent, guardian, boss, leader etc.), He has to prepare you for it. So, God will not just fulfill His promises in your life and give you rich inheritance to enjoy without your cooperation to be prepared for it. Good preparation is a sign of seriousness for the pursuit of a true vision. It indicates faith and commitment to a dream, hope, or expectation, and is a sure sign of diligence. There many of us who accomplish little or nothing, and cannot be vessels or tools in the hands of God for His highest purposes because we are never prepared for any achievements. We desire to see great results, but then we do not fulfill the planning and preparation requirements involved. We want things to slide down the easy road of no-preparation, and wait to see accomplishments along the path of no diligent efforts on our part. That is not how God planned a normal, healthy, and happy life to be. Work, planning, organization, and preparation were a vital part of the normal, fruitful life that God originally gave to mankind. Work and other forms of preparation for success became more difficult when sin came into the picture. But, using His power and wisdom, God has rectified all the discrepancies and mishaps of all preparation and planning processes for us through Jesus Christ our Lord. Plan Wisely Within Your Means --- Consider The Effects On Others Your plans and organization for success should never be based upon any comparison with the lifestyle or expectations of anyone, and worst of all, based on competition with someone else. You must wisely and humbly cut your coat according to your size, without assuming power and resources that you do no have, and might never receive. For example, if you applied for a loan and graciously obtained it, you must make a wise and honest payment plan before you even go for the loan, and make such plans with the agreement of your spouse if you are married. The same principle applies to any leader of a business, company, organization, church, ministry, city, or nation who plunges into reckless financial deals and monstrous projects that look good only in his or her eyes without enough constructive appraisal of the viability of the project, plus intended as well as unintended consequences. Even if your spouse is a housewife who does not bring any monetary income home, she is still a vital part of your income. This is because she plays an important role as a special domestic helper, spiritual support, social energizer, and romantic satisfier in your life that enables you to do your work effectively. She also bears children and helps to train them for you, in order for the profits of your toils to have future inheritors. God says you are also “joint heirs” in the marriage (1 Peter 3: 7), and should equally share the resources plus the burdens of the home and family without any of you cheating the other person. If you are a single parent or unmarried individual, then you must make the plans according to your existing situation, resource availability, future projections, and your capabilities, in order to avoid being a future burden for your family, your community, the church, and the Government. God categorically instructed Joshua to plan and prepare to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. The fact that God was leading, protecting, and providing for them did not guarantee success without preparation. This is where many Believers have gone wrong over the years. They assume that if God has endowed, blessed, and promised them victory, then everything would be smooth sailing without any constructive planning or organized efforts on their part. But, the popular saying goes: “Fail to plan, and therefore plan to fail.” Even God planned salvation from the beginning of creation, that one day when man sins, His only Son Jesus would be sent down to die and save mankind. When Simeon came to see the Child Jesus in the temple in Jerusalem, he declared: “My eyes have seen Your salvation which You have prepared before the face of all peoples” (Luke 2: 30, 31). All of us can testify that considering all the projects and activities we have engaged in before, the maximum productivity and success resulted from those ones that we paid more attention to prepare properly, and took much time to plan the details. AVOIDANCE OF PLANNING Most people avoid constructive and detailed planning and organization for many things that they do. Some of the reasons are because: 1) Planning takes time This is when we do not want to invest time into proper planning and organization. We rather have more time for criticisms, gossip, slander, grumbling, pleasure, and enjoyment of the fruits of other people’s labor. We want to invest very little time to obtain maximum results. 2) It demands patience Patience is the most important part of faith. If your faith is weak or zero, you will not believe in serious planning and preparation. Just sitting down and having faith without any form of planning is foolishness. In that case, even if God grants you success by His mercy, you would make a mess of the products because you did not plan how to wisely use the success properly and profitably. 3) It requires faith and courage If you do not really believe in what you are going to do, or feel incapable to do it, and belittle it, you will not be moved to make any preparations, or you will prepare very poorly for it. Sometimes we are too scared to initiate it or get fully involved, and therefore run away from any planning for the project. 4) Mental capabilities and skills are involved A lazy and ignorant mind would not want to organize and prepare, since the processes tasks our thinking capacity, and compels all of our skills to be employed for good planning. 5) It requires the spending of resources No meaningful organization or preparation can be made without obtaining and using the right resources. Anyone who lacks the needed resources for a project, and is stingy, or selfish in making his or her resources available to others, will not be able to make preparations for success. 6) We do not know what details to put into the plan We may have a hazy idea of what the plan entails, and attempt to start some planning, but go nowhere with any further concrete inputs that would flesh out the preparation process. 7) We do not know how to start the entire process and do the planning This is where the individual does not have a clue as to how the entire planning and organization process should be constructed. Simply put, the person is quite ignorant about how to effectively make any meaningful preparations for the project. In many of such instances the person at the forefront might be the wrong person to be put in charge of the project or event. There are many people who marry and have little or no clue about any definite planning to be a good wife or husband, and worst of all, to be a real parent when a child is born into the marriage. 8) We have the bad habit of being disorganized in our character Some of us never take any form of proper organization and planning as a serious part of our life. We are habitually disorganized and haphazard in all we do, and do not often take it to heart even when it causes us to produce shoddy work, until it hurts us so badly with devastating consequences that spread to harm others around us. 9) We are to be contributors and not leaders of the planning When we are gifted to be a significant part of a team of planners but force to become the main leaders or sole organizers and executors of the plan, we can get stuck in our tracks and unable to proceed with definite or complete plans for a project, because being gifted in one particular area does not mean you have the knowledge and expertise to handle all the different areas. 10) We are outside of God’s will or have bad motives Sometimes we force to do what God has not asked us to do, and simply wish to satisfy our ego or personal desires, and may be motivated by evil intentions. We therefore have no definite purpose or good intentions that motivate or guides to do any meaningful planning. Sometimes the event or project could be so far-fetched and unreasonable at that moment, that it is even impossible to conceive any concrete plan for its execution. Aim At Sharpening Your Skills And Developing Your Character Some activities demand serious and elaborate planning, in which case your spirit of perseverance, patience, faith, mental capabilities, and skills are really tested; and your resources are very much stretched and tasked as well. In all cases it is not even the final product that primarily pays off, or dominates in the end The sharpening of your skills, development of enduring character, and the joy of a good job accomplished through toil and sweat, go a long way to prepare you for greater success and honor at the next higher level that the first planning process will project you to occupy. I notice that in many cases we do not plan because we do not sincerely know how to plan for a particular activity, and do not know what to really plan for in order to obtain the intended results, although we have the final product in our minds and hearts. That is where the factors of faith and time come in. We need to believe that we can do something and obtain reasonable success, and then take time to consider all the ingredients that we believe could make up the final product, how and where we would get those essentials, and how we would put them together gradually and appropriately. In my opinion, true Christians have the privilege of meditating on scripture, and praying to God who is our source, and who is the ultimate Provider of all things. The Lord will drop ideas into our minds and spirits as we wait upon Him in faith. He will then enable us to sift through everything and reject or remove all that is unnecessary or destructive, especially items that appear ungodly or are carnally oriented. Such items would usually taint the spirituality of the results, and some are even sometimes channels for the devil to infiltrate and hijack or destroy the end product. Be Organized And Save Yourself From False Hope And Defeat It is often said: Fail to plan, and plan to fail. If I do not organize myself properly with diligence and enthusiasm for an exam, and study well for it, I should not expect God to work miracles for me simply because I am trying hard to exercise faith in him for miracles as a child of God. If, due to poor planning and organization, I leave for the airport or train station very late, it would be very difficult to catch my plane or train, and travel comfortably. When I turn in my application very late after the deadline is past, and exercise great faith that somehow God would cause circumstances to change in order to make the people accept and process the application, I should except to be a loser and not a winner. In all these instances, success will elude me, and God will not be glorified in the end. We all know and agree that God does the impossible, and can change situations mysteriously for us to obtain absolutely unexpected results. But we also know that our God is not a capricious, dishonest, flip-flop, and unrealistic God. He trains us, disciplines us, and uses his performances to build character in us. In all of our undertakings, God expects us to prepare and organize properly for resounding success that glorifies Him. We do not dispute the fact that God can do anything, including the production or creation of things out of nothing, as well as modifying or changing any existing thing to suit his purposes. However, God does not just work aimlessly and haphazardly in a vacuum all the time just because we have a need to be fulfilled, or simply because he wants to demonstrate his power to us. You should always organize yourself properly as part of your faith process. True faith is also faith that believes in getting yourself properly organized for effective functioning. You do not just pray and quote bible verses to spiritualize your ignorance, carelessness, mismanagement of resources, and poor organization, all in the name of faith. Becoming better organized while you exercise faith in God for productive results rather brings more glory to the Lord, because our God is very organized. Look at how He, for example, carefully organized all of His creation and His salvation plan, and how he expects his church to become organized as well! May God help us to exercise balanced faith by planning and preparing properly, organize ourselves adequately, and set the stage to maximize our talents and opportunities for resounding success.
