Temasco launches 60th Anniversary celebration

The Tema Secondary School has launched its 60th Anniversary at the FK Buah Hall under the theme: "Temasch @60, setting the pace for an enhanced educational experience in the 21st Century.”

A colourful parade was mounted by the Tema Secondary School Army Cadet Corps and was reviewed by Anchorite Group Captain Charles Addico (Rtd) to precede the launch on Saturday, September 4, 2021.

In his welcome address, the Headmaster of the school, E.K. Baidoo, thanked TOSA for their contributions to the school's success and further prayed for strengthening "the existing partnership with our major stakeholders to build and expand the footprints of our dear school".

In his speech, the National President of TOSA, Anchorite Daniel Boifio, stated that there is a need "to develop the best and brightest of human capital for our dear nation and the world at large".

He, therefore, called on all "to think deep and invest in our great Alma mater to set the pace for an enhanced educational experience in the 21st century".

The 60th-anniversary logo, designed by Anchorite Gerald Ankrah, was unveiled by the board Chairman, Anchorite Kow Kakraba Yakoah, while the anniversary cloth, the Toman Green, was unveiled by National Vice President of TOSA, Anchorite Betty Akumatey.

Other ongoing projects, such as the frontage beautification undertaken by TOSA 2001, the Water tank farm and supply system will be undertaken by TOSA 79 and 80, and the Multi-purpose auditorium complex to be undertaken by TOSA were all unveiled.

The 60th anniversary was duly launched by Anchorite Clifford Duke Mettle with music from the school choir.
