This year's Tema Country Golf Club President's Putter Open Championship tees off at Tema on Sunday, February 24.
About 120 amateur and professional golfers are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Medal Play competition.
Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, Chief Executive Officer of the Club, who announced at Tema on Monday, said the event, which would be played under the local rules of the Club, is being sponsored by Mr Felix Owusu-Adjapong, President of the Club.
He said the entry requirement for the competition, which is pegged at Handicap 18 and 24 respectively had received the largest entry in the history of the event, due to the attractive prizes at stake.
Mr Adablanu said some of the participants who would be vying for the ultimate prize include Joshua Peprah, winner of the Club's February Medal, Kojo Choi, William Asiedu Yeboah and Alex Fiagomey.
Five prizes would be awarded in the Men's event while three would be awarded in the Ladies category.
Gyimah Kwakye would defend the trophy he won last year.
