Prince Tagoe has insisted he is willing to stay with Hoffenheim and become a regular for the Bundesliga side.
The Ghana striker spent last season on loan at Partizan Belgrade and has since been linked with moves away after helping the Serbian club to a league and cup double.
Despite increased competition for a place upfront in Hoffenheim, Tagoe in an interview with KickOffGhana.com explained that he is confident of making the mark.
"It is not about whom they sign but what I am capable of proving. In pre season I have put in a lot of hard work and showed I am good," he said.
"I have never had a real opportunity at Hoffenheim to prove myself but when I went on loan at Partizan, I demonstrated given the opportunity I can score goals. That is all I want."
