Suuparstar TZ has exited Joy Prime’s Cues and Lyrics Reality Show after nine weeks in the competition.
He becomes the fifth contestant to bow out of the reality show.
The one-time star performer failed to impress the judges when he performed his rendition of Asem’s ‘Give Me Blow.’
Also, the votes from his supporters were just not enough to shield him from eviction.
The budding rapper has had an extraordinary run on Cues and Lyrics with his outstanding stage performances week after week.
Although the young artiste struggled with singing after he was challenged to move from his comfort zone, the Ashaiman-based young artiste remained faithful to his roots.
Suuparstar TZ has been up for eviction three consecutive times but skipped them.
However, this week was not meant to be, as he joins evictees New Born, Rich Glad, Udiene, and Mytee.
All the judges felt disappointed that Suuparstar TZ was leaving the competition, and wished they had the power to keep him for the finals.
Guest judge Andy Dosty stated, "I am disappointed because this guy - I saw him or I imagined that he would be in the finals - and if there is a way the voters can bring him back, I will really appreciate it. I’m not being biased; forgive me; a lot of people have been evicted, and I may not have intervened like this, but it will be a great loss if this guy leaves the competition."
On his part, Bullgod indicated that, "Suuperstar TZ, this is not the end of the journey, I mean, after here, that’s where the work really starts, so don’t be deterred, keep faith, and do a lot. We are always here to support you, so reach out and let’s get you to the level you need to get to."
For the first time in eight weeks, the judges broke the rules and made Suuparstar TZ perform before saying goodbye.
But Suuparstar TZ has vowed to soldier on and make great strides in his music career.
